I am Lianne, a 32 year old Mum of 2...I have an 8 year old and a 2 year old. I started this fitness career back whilst I was in University when I was studying Sports Science and working in a Gym (Bannatynes). Previous to that I had a number of crazy little jobs that kept me busy - Pizza delivery, Greggs, Cleaner, Waitress, Barmaid. I love working and even had 4 jobs at the same time between A levels and University!
Fast forward a few years having worked in a few different Gyms, I got married (to a soldier...) and moved hundreds of miles away from my Family in North Yorkshire, all the way to Colchester....with a 4 week old baby (Georgie).
I didn't have post-natal depression but a horrid anxiety definitely reared its ugly head for those first few months. I was house-bound a lot and was not 100% happy. I needed to get out, exercise and socialise more. Here is where I have a massive drive to ensure people around me know that fitness isn't JUST about physical achievements. I am a massive advocate of mental health and how exercise can help towards positive mental health. As soon as I started to exercise again after having Georgie and being house bound a lot by a new born baby, my mood spiked and I was a new woman.
Desperate to get back into some kind of work alongside being a new Mum and having my husband away the majority of the time, I tried to work in a gym again. I found a job for a few hours a couple of nights a week. I was teaching classes for 2 or 3 of the hours and then walking the gym floor for another hour... all for minimum wage. I would come home exhausted and then had to deal with a baby that disliked sleep..! As well as this, childcare for Georgie was costing me two thirds of what I was earning. Something had to change and there was the lightbulb moment!

February 2012 I started up these classes. They went from strength to strength. I ended up with a huge amount of clients through the classes, they were bouncing, loving it...I loved it too! I did this for 6 years in Colchester. I spread my work out with classes for my business, classes freelancing in gyms and PT a little on the side for individuals and groups. Classes were and definitely still are my favourite though! The buzz you get from these is immense.
In the middle of that I also became a PE teacher. My business was my part time thing and I was teaching full time PE. I also had my second baby, Finley.
Summer 2017 we moved to Brunei, South East Asia when Finley was 6 months old (a habit of moving with small babies maybe!). No anxiety and no low moods this time....I had focus and drive to create something for this crazy move!
I gave up everything..... BUT I created my online fitness platform.... and that is where we are today! I am loving it and excited about where it is going. Take a look at what 'new stuff' we have going on. Send me a message if you have any questions.
